"My gemology journey was inspired by my enduring passion for gems, minerals, and jewelry along with my desire to make the most of the new perspectives I gained after I won my battle against cancer. Studying the complex and fascinating world of gems and minerals was an important facet of a successful healing journey." - Adrianne Sanogo

Adrianne Sanogo is a GIA Graduate Gemologist with a prestigious education from the Gemological Institute of America, where she is also recognized as a distinguished alumna. She is a freelance jewelry journalist and educator whose work appears in Rapaport Magazine, National Jeweler, Jewelry Connoisseur, Gems & Jewellery, the Natural Diamond Council, and the Jewelers Collective. Adrianne is celebrated for her ability to uncover the unexpected, emotionally resonant stories behind the world of gems and jewelry.

In 2025, Adrianne was selected as a featured expert in the Natural Diamond Council’s Diamond Learning Center, an international campaign designed to educate the public about natural diamonds. In this role, she brought her signature blend of gemological expertise and accessible storytelling to a global audience through on-camera content and digital media.

Her influence extends beyond the page: Adrianne has spoken and moderated at marquee events including the inaugural Jewelry Summit at Harvard University, JCK Las Vegas, and JA New York. She leads masterclasses and workshops for institutions such as Tiffany & Co., the Penn Museum, and the Academy of Natural Sciences, and her voice is heard worldwide through podcasts including Jewelry Navigator and Heirloom Academy.

Adrianne also serves law enforcement as an expert in identifying gems and jewelry from evidence rooms and supports resale and consignment businesses by authenticating and cataloging fine jewelry for sale. As a guest lecturer, public educator, and private consultant, she informs the public across platforms about identifying, understanding, and caring for gems, minerals, and jewelry—whether in legacy collections or future purchases.

A true force multiplier in the industry, Adrianne uses her voice and visibility to uplift others while reshaping how the world sees jewelry—one story, one student, and one stone at a time.
